For those of you who are still trying to make sense of what happened at Lakeland, here is the official statement from the people at God TV.

I hate to sound judgemental, so I will say off the bat that I am sorry about what has happened with Todd and his ministry.
I must be honest, I had some bad feelings about what was happening at Lakeland soon after it started. Admittedly, I am not keen on these sorts of healing revivals, where the focus seems to be more on physical healing that spiritual renewal. But I withheld judgement throughout the whole time the meetings in Lakeland where taking place simply becuase I have not been there myself.
But sadly it seems that the wheels have really come off for Todd.

I think the church should really pray for this man and his family and we should let this serve as a lesson to us, never to put so much attention onto an individual. How many times must this sort of thing happen before we learn?
